Beautiful beach house in Peniche, perfect for large families

About the Armazem (8 beds)

This is a very spacious house with a beautiful floral garden. The beach house is simple in construction, with an unusual layout and super comfortable and luminous. From the gray wall surrounding the property and giving it an utmost privacy, you enter a simple door into an oasis filled with flowers and glass walls. The building used to be a warehouse (armazém in Portuguese) and consists of two separate buildings connected by a large porch. The garden is completely private and includes a large stone grill in the garden, perfect for large group barbecues. There are several seating areas, including one on an elevated plateau in the corner of the garden offering a grand view of the ocean, where you can catch the last sun rays of the day.

Building 1: main building

The main part consists of a large living and dining room with a modest but well-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. The master bedroom has a double bed and an extra bed perfect for children. The second bedroom, with an entrance directly to the veranda, also has a double bed. The main building is very bright, even at night, due to ceiling windows; something to keep in mind in case you’d like to bring something to cover your eyes!

Building 2: the piano studio

The piano studio has two large rooms, each with two beds and also a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. There is a grand piano in the largest room. The washing machine is also located in this building. And there is a linen room, used by our housekeeper from time to time.

Extra information

You will be welcomed with made beds, there are bath towels and kitchen towels, but no beach towels. You can request an extra round of cleaning from your hostess on site for an additional fee.
Smoking is not allowed inside and please use ashtrays if you smoke in the garden.
Please be mindful of sound and do not use speakers in the garden.

Check-in/out

Check-in is between 2:00p.m. and 10:00p.m. You are welcome to drop-off your luggage at an earlier time. When check-in is after 10p.m. an additional charge of 20 eur applies.
The check-out time is 10:30a.m. In case new guests arrive the same day, the check-out time for the piano studio is no later than 10 a.m.

Cleaning

You do not have to clean, but we do expect you to leave the house in a decent manner. We kindly ask you to not leave dirty dishes, waste or empty bottles and no cigarette butts in the garden or on the terraces. In case you moved the furniture, please put it back in its original position. Thank you.
